Holladay ESA and Psychiatric Service Dog Letters
Holladay grew from 14,561 residents when it incorporated in 1999 to 31,965 in 2020, after four annexations, and it still carries the name of John Holladay of the 1847 Mississippi Company. Start with a free online screening, and a clinician licensed in Utah will decide whether a support animal or psychiatric service dog letter fits your care.

Holladay's Settlement on Spring Creek
On July 29, 1847, the Mississippi Company, John Holladay of Alabama among them, entered the Salt Lake Valley and soon found a spring-fed stream near today's Kentucky Avenue. They called it Spring Creek, and while most went back to Salt Lake City for the winter, two or three men stayed in dugouts on its banks. The town was known as Holladay's Settlement and Big Cottonwood, and it incorporated on November 29, 1999.
