The Strawberry City on Ebey Slough
James P. Comeford opened a trading post here in 1872, and the town incorporated in 1891 as the Great Northern Railway arrived. Strawberry fields earned it the nickname Strawberry City in the 1920s. Between 1980 and 2000 the population grew fivefold, and Marysville is now the second-largest city in Snohomish County.

Community Transit treats emotional support animals as pets. A dog or cat outside a crate needs a leash and a commercially made muzzle, other small animals ride in a crate, and pets stay on your lap or under the seat.
Will my letter still work if I move closer to work in Everett or Seattle?
Yes. A current letter from a Washington-licensed clinician can be used for housing anywhere in the state, so it goes with you when you move.
What do I need to apply for the lifetime license?
Your address and phone number, your pet's name, color and breed, and whether it is spayed or neutered, along with the veterinarian's proof if it is.
Can a landlord charge a fee for my support animal?
Federal guidance says a housing provider may not charge a deposit, fee or surcharge for an assistance animal, and Washington rules also bar pet deposits for one. You are still responsible for any damage.
