How much is a Kirkland pet license?
A one-year license is $30 for a spayed or neutered dog or cat and $60 for an unaltered one. Pets under six months can get a $15 juvenile license, and there are lower rates for seniors 65 and older and for low-income residents.
Does Regional Animal Services of King County license Kirkland pets?
No. Kirkland runs its own pet licensing, so the tag comes from the city rather than the county. Neighboring Redmond and Sammamish are among the cities that use the county service.
Will my landlord see my diagnosis?
Our clinicians' letters confirm the disability-related need for the animal without listing a diagnosis. That is usually the documentation a housing provider asks to see.
Can my dog ride the bus in Kirkland?
King County Metro serves Kirkland. Service animals ride free, a small dog on your lap rides free, a larger dog pays a fare, and other animals travel in a carrier.
Does a waterfront condo board count as a housing provider?
Yes. Condominium and homeowner associations are treated as housing providers for accommodation requests, so send your request and letter to the board or its manager in writing.
What happens if the clinician does not approve me?
Then there is no charge. You are billed only after a clinician approves you and you pick a plan.
