Everett Questions and Answers
Does Everett license emotional support animals?
Everett licenses cats, dogs and pot-bellied pigs from six months old through the Everett Animal Shelter, and support animals are included. Addresses outside city limits use Snohomish County Animal Services.
Can my ESA ride Everett Transit without a muzzle?
Everett Transit asks for a muzzle on pet dogs, and an emotional support dog is treated as a pet on the bus. A trained service animal rides under the service animal rules instead.
I work at the Boeing plant. When can I do the evaluation?
The screening is online and open whenever your shift allows. If the clinician needs a telehealth visit, it is scheduled with you.
Can my Navy family use the letter in base housing?
Military and privatized base housing follow their own animal policies. Ask the housing office how they handle accommodation requests before you apply.
Do I need to see a therapist in Everett?
No. Our Washington-licensed clinicians work by telehealth, so you can be evaluated from home.
When do I pay?
Only after a clinician approves you and you choose a plan. The screening is free.
