Where can I take my dog on Hollywood Beach?
Only on Dog Beach, the stretch between Pershing and Custer Streets. The city opens it every day from sunrise to sunset, and dogs must be leashed everywhere outside it.
Does an ESA letter let my dog on the rest of the beach?
No. An emotional support animal letter supports a housing request. On the beach your dog follows the same pet rules as everyone else, while a trained service dog may accompany its handler.
Is a rabies tag required at Dog Beach?
Yes. The city requires dogs at Dog Beach to wear a current rabies tag, and it bars sick dogs, dogs in heat and aggressive dogs.
Can I use my ESA letter for a Hollywood condo on the beach?
Yes. Send it to the condominium association as well as the unit owner if you rent. The board must consider the request, and it cannot add a pet fee for an approved animal.
Do you offer psychiatric service dog letters in Hollywood?
